A Seaside Adventure Ecotours, where we personally show you the Essence of Alaska's Seaside Secret

We keep our tours very small, cohesive and personal, but if you have a larger group, we can accommodate you by setting aside a day just for your party. See our website for details and please give us a call or email us, to book, make special arrangements or have questions.

You do not need any kayaking experience. Our slogan is - the slower we go, the more we see. Our guests range from toddlers to seniors and anyone in between. Many of our guests have never kayaked before, and others are seasoned outdoor enthusiasts who come to explore this breathtaking place at a leisurely pace. In all the years we have guided in Kachemak Bay, we have the bragging rights to say that we never had anyone tip over.

Hiking, Kayaking, Wildlife Ocean Cruises in Homer

A Seaside Adventure LLC

We live and start our tours in Little Tutka Bay, also known as Cozy Cove, and kayak in the bay’s most protected waters and island system. Rick grew up in Alaska and shares his extensive knowledge of the flora, fauna, archeology and geology of the area with passion and humor. We never tire of sharing this magical Alaskan treasure with our guests. You can come visit us for the day, or stay in one of our two beautiful log cabins on the shore, surrounded by lush, old-growth forest. Experience the abundance of marine life, birds, the spectacular intertidal zone, the rich forest, and the majestic mountains. Things to do include kayaking, photo safaris, wildlife viewing, some of the Kenai’s most spectacular hikes, tide-pooling, beach-combing, as well as exploration of ancient native sites and awe-inspiring geological formations. We can also arrange for fishing and bear viewing trips.

We are proud to announce that we recently received Rand McNally's Best of the Road Award, a prestigeous confirmation of offering unique, high quality outdoor adventure tours.
