Travel in style to a beautiful cove from which to begin your unguided black bear hunt!

Five day unguided Transport Black Bear Hunts are available the last week of April through the first week of June. The “Ashtikan” will transport you to your desired locations for your unguided Black Bear Hunt. The Avon Inflatable with fiberglass bottom will help you get to shore where you can begin your hunt. After you shoot your bear, you will want to bring it to the Ashtikan to dress it out.

The spaciousness, comfort and warmth of the “Ashtikan” will be appreciated as you enjoy your hot dinner and comfy bunks in the evening. All meals will be furnished for your transport hunt.

For Captain B, safety is paramount! He annually requests a US Coast Guard inspection (not required), and has been awarded a 5-Star Safety Rating- not common within the six-passenger fleet.
