Homer Fishing Derbies

In Homer, your fish isn’t the only prize you’ll be after.  Homer has a couple fishing derbies, the bigger of which is the Jackpot Halibut Derby .  The Homer Jackpot Halibut Derby runs all summer long. Whether you reel in the heaviest catch of the season or a tagged fish, the rewards are BIG!.  Prizes are awarded for the five largest fish each month.  Over 100 fish are tagged every year, plus there is a prize for the largest fish of the season.  $10 buys opportunity and challenge during the Halibut Derby.
