Homer Guided Hunting

There are two predominant guided hunting opportunities from Homer: Boat Charters and air charters. Boat charters offer Kodiak deer hunts and black bear hunts on the outer Gulf Coast. Several operators offer full service hunting trips to residents and non-resident hunters.

The second option is to fly out. Big game hunters use Homer to fly west across Cook Inlet for Caribou, Moose, and Bear. Black bear are plentiful in Kachemak Bay State Park, and the outer Gulf coast areas.
